25-06-25 | I’ve always preferred collecting paperbacks over loose comics. Aside from the quality of the paper and the solid nature of a collected edition, I like the idea of an adventure earning its second chance having been out of print for a while. Wolverine Goes to Hell is such a series. It sat there on the shelf at Marvel since 2010 until somebody said ‘Hey! Remember this one? It was dark and bloody and loads of fun! Why not give it the special treatment?’. Maybe one or more of the upcoming series, out in July 2025, will spawn a similar special collected edition in fifteen years’ time? My money is on Gotham City Sirens!
WOLVERINES & DEADPOOLS #1
Another Wolverine and Deadpool team-up? Haven’t we read this story by now?! No, no, no. Read the title more carefully. It’s plural, you see. Wade and Logan brought their girls to the party. Bad luck for bad guys Lady Bullseye and Shadow King, who will now have to deal with two plus two is four of them.
