Not a comic book tale, but rather a collection of covers to celebrate the anniversary of Zenescope’s plucky little series. Scantily glad female fairy tale characters facing vicious gothic monsters is what Zenescope is all about. Totally tasteless, but somehow it works. Happy birthday, Grimm Fairy Tales!
PRIDE COMICS
The tradition of releasing comics celebrating queer pride continues, with some smashing titles for 2025! Marvel and DC are both offering specials with a whopping 88 pages. Our favourite title this year is It Rhymes with Takei, which tells the life story of Star Trek icon and gay activist George Takei.
DEATH OF THE SILVER SURFER #1

This epic 2002 series by the legendary artists behind Batman: Long Halloween and Superman For All Seasons is collected in a superb volume. It tells the story of Peter’s struggle to find love in New York city. As you can imagine his battles with the Green Goblin, the Lizard and more don’t exactly help.
