Almost a decade and several spectacular films later, the MonsterVerse turns out to be a big hit with audiences. So much so that it is now ready to leap from cinemas towards the small screen. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters follows Anna Sawai, as she attempts to uncover the secret organization know as Monarch.
Along for the ride is cult favourite Kurt Russell, who adds some class to the upcoming series. The real star, of course, is Godzilla himself. The Japanese lizard turns up near the end of the trailer to assist our heroes in battling the vicious monsters released by Monarch. John Goodman can also briefly be seen. Goodman played a major role in the superb adventure movie Kong: Skull Island, the second in the MonsterVerse series. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is out next month courtesy of Apple TV+.
