21-07-23 | Coinciding with the annual San Diego Comic Con, Disney releases their trailer for The Marvels. This brand new adventure sees Captain Marvel join forces with Monica Rambeau and the young Ms. Marvel. The film is to star Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellanni, all of whom will be reprising their respective roles from previous Marvel Studios productions. And did we mention the trailer features none other than Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury?
Reactions to Brie Larson’s appearances as Captain Marvel have been extremely mixed. The Marvels offers Larson a chance to reestablish herself as a key figure within the Marvel universe. Someone who does not require a second chance is Iman Vellani as the lovable Ms. Marvel. Her 2022 series was well received and fans can’t wait to see more of her. Well, the wait is over! The Marvels will be out later this year!
